Dare to face the adventures.

Redefining the way you travel
TripNos takes the hassle out of trip management letting adventurers create, organize, and cost-track any journey to navigate through.

Overview

No more sifting through emails looking for when people are getting in or who is bringing what. Tripnos makes trip management easy by combining various features into one platform. Chat, schedule, share costs, accomplish to-do’s and more.

The challenge

Planning your next trip can be challenging, especially when it comes down to getting large groups of people from your city, country, or even around the globe together. What’s the best route to take? How does one loop everyone in for seamless collaboration? And most importantly, how is progress tracked?
With these issues in mind, Tripnos partnered with Auxility to develop a seamless solution and take the hassle out of trip management letting adventurers create, organize, and cost-track any journey, on the go.
Paul Lwin:
"TripNos takes the stress out of a trip and allows people to enjoy their time with one another.  TripNos is designed to let people use social media to live life together."

Developing a fun, easy way to discover the world

On average, people start planning a journey 45 days before travel. In a week before they book, spending as much as double time on the internet surfing a satisfying place of stay. If a party does not have a leader who would manage the hassle - things can get even messier.
While many apps organize and manage the trip, most of them don’t have advanced functionality for a better user experience. During the research, Auxility team found out that 9/10 of trip planning apps don’t have a “shared budget” function. Considering standard group size is somewhere between 5-10 people, with the average trip cost of $1000 - napkin calculation may not work.
Moreover, having analyzed customer’s behavior and pain points they face while planning or executing a trip, the lack of chat, scheduling, and to-do’s capabilities may lead to decent traffic loss. 45% of new users will quit and delete an app if they do not have these capabilities. Users do not like the idea of using different apps for each need.
With the problems in mind, the goal was set - create a seamless, user-friendly cross-platform application, which would allow travel parties to enjoy the trip itself rather than waste time on its management.

What’s a Rich Text element?

Ukraine does not have any applications to manage DGBs. The only one who tried was PrivatBank. However, they have aborted development and have never released one. Hence, Auxility team delved into Russia and US markets studying its best solutions, like Tinkoff, Chase, and etc.

The goal was to create something new and special for the Ukrainian market based on best practices around the globe.

Development

The biggest development challenge for Auxility was to build the chat (with all its features, including segmentation, threads, polls, attachments, real-time updates etc.). The task was similar to creating a Slack mobile client. Another challenge was to create a flexible cloud database infrastructure to support secure data sharing.
Auxility team designed a flexible and fast Firebase architecture, which eventually laid the foundation for flawless app performance. We crafted a scalable database model with surgical precision to ensure correct data flow in a biderictorial way, role-based access management, data security and integrity.

Flawless interaction between the user and the app.

Chat

A better way to communicate with conversations being easy to follow. Highlights, emoji, threads, and more.

Schedule

Get yourself organized at any place and at any time throughout the journey. Or journeys. Up to you.

Count

Swap your napkin calculations for in-app finance tracking functionality. Never fight over splitting a bill ever again.

Checkpoint

Seamless way to create, manage, and assign to-do’s & checklists. Focus on what’s important first.

The Challenge

What’s a Rich Text element?

There is a special type of bonds in Ukraine called Domestic Government Bonds (DGB), which are government debt securities issued by the Ministry of Finance in Ukraine. Once sold, the government obliges itself to make payments within a predetermined period. The only way legal entities can acquire DGBs is through a broker.

Ukraine does not have any applications to manage DGBs. The only one who tried was PrivatBank. However, they have aborted development and have never released one. Hence, Auxility team delved into Russia and US markets studying its best solutions, like Tinkoff, Chase, and etc.
